MOTUS TREES
Art. Movement. Community
Motus trees are multifunctional artistic installations designed to inspire. They bring people together, encourage physical activity, and create beautiful, meaningful spaces in our communities.
ABOUT MOTUS METAL
MORE THAN METAL
More than exercise.
Motus Metal was born from a simple idea: that the spaces around us can inspire us to become stronger, more active and more connected.
Motus Trees bring together sculpture, engineering and movement to create something that is both beautiful and functional.
They are designed to be experienced—not simply observed.

WHY MOTUS?
Motus is rooted in the idea of movement.
Movement is the starting point of everything Motus Metal creates.
PETER VRANA
Founder. Metal Artist
I started welding and metal fabrication in 2006, working across multiple industries including aerospace and architectural fabrication before eventually moving into custom fabrication for special effects in cinema.
Working across these industries taught me how to think about materials, structure, precision and creative problem solving.
Being physically active, I had often thought about creating training equipment. Years ago, I built an outdoor gym at my family cottage using trees and ropes, creating a simple environment where different muscle groups could be trained.
THAT WAS THE BEGINNING.
THE MOTUS FORMULA
MOVEMENT + STRENGTH = FREEDOM
The Motus Metal formula represents a simple belief: movement and strength can expand our physical, mental and personal freedom.
THE IDEA IS BIGGER THAN ONE TREE
Peter's vision is not simply to build Motus Trees, but to inspire a global creative community around them.
"WE'RE WEAK BECAUSE
We are not taught how to be strong"
EVERYTHING BEGINS WITH AN IDEA
IMAGINE A WORLD FULL OF MOTUS PARKS.
Motus Trees in parks.
In schools.
In playgrounds.
Near pools.
Along urban trails.
In communities around the world.
